Practice Test

Instructions

These practice test questions help you become familiar with question formats and types in the Civil Service Verbal Test (CSVT).

The CSVT looks at your ability to identify relevant information and draw logical conclusions from written information.

You will see a passage of text, followed by a statement. You must decide whether the statement is ‘true’, ‘false’, or you ‘cannot say’ based on the information.

You will get feedback on each practice question, and an explanation of how the answer can be reached. There may be multiple ways to reach the correct answer. Please note that feedback is on a question-by-question basis, and you will not receive an overall score.

There are 5 practice test questions in total.
